Kuk Sul Do® is a traditional Korean martial art. In English, its name means “The Way of Korea’s National Martial Arts.” Kuk Sul Do is the combination of historical techniques and forms developed throughout Korean history, perfected and passed down from generation to generation. Unlike many other martial art styles, Kuk Sul Do encompasses far more than just punching and kicking.
Kuk Sul Do integrates the full repertoire of Korea’s traditional martial arts, including punching, kicking, empty hand and weapon forms, and safe falling techniques. Kuk Sul Do also teaches a wide variety of self-defense techniques that include pressure point manipulation, joint locking, throwing, wrist escape, arrest and restraint, weapon defense, and much more.

Our academy first opened in the year 2000, across from the Centerville library. In 2011, we moved to our current location, a spacious building in the heart of Centerville's historic district.
Since opening, our goal has been to provide high-caliber instruction in Korean martial arts. Our classes teach both practical skills and the historical traditions of Korea's arts. Over the years, we've seen over one hundred students earn a 1st-Degree Black Belt or beyond.
We believe in holding our students to a high standard. If you wish to succeed in martial arts, you must train hard, and continually seek self-improvement.
